Caramel Tuftgrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small, caramel grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lime tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
