Silverclump Moss

This silver moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps On trees, In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.

A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
