Vinebloom
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) tall. Its moss green and cream stem is very thin and straight with a curved tip, and the giant, emerald leaves are very narrow and elongated with irregular edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.
Each stem splits 2 to 4 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are blood red at the sides and light grey at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. They are very delicate.
It has an intensely strong scent that smells like fruity, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
