Coppervine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large tree grows up to 86 meters (282.2 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 568 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has a very thick, straight trunk covered in paper-thin, smooth, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the light wood is mahogany-coloured.
The tangled mess of branches are very short and slender and are covered with small amounts of smooth, huge, long, narrow leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are white and copper.
In late summer it forms giant, copper berries.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
