Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, amber flower.
During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It can flourish even in standing water.
