Coppergrass

This short, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The heart-shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, copper tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
