Emerald Crest Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In damp forests, and In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly sturdy; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
