Copper Glowflower
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This huge flower grows up to 8.8 feet (2.7 meters) tall. Its burgundy stem is thick, and the large, copper leaves are long, tapering with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
A single small flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 76 cm (29.9 inches) wide, with solid copper petals decorated with white lines and a crimson central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 56 curved petals. They are hardy.
It has an intense scent that smells like warm milk, and it has very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
It is bio-luminescent.
