Clinging Hazelgrass

This large, green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, hazel flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
