Azure Spine Cactus

This giant cactus grows up to 158 feet (48.2 meters) tall. The thick stem is lime green, and is covered in large amounts of flexible azure spines.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid sky blue petals decorated with blue dots and a lilac central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of 54 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. It has the faintest scent that smells like honeysuckle.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the indigo flesh is waxy, and the aquamarine sap is thin.
