Burgundy Spore Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is slightly strong.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
