Ember Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is huge, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.

The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
