Emerald Triangular Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees, In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly light; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
