Stiff Pointed Fuzzy Bine, Gray-Red

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This giant bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,979 feet (908.0 meters) and growing as high as 518 feet (157.9 meters).

It takes 35 years for the gray stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4.2 feet (1.3 meters) and are tough and woody.

The stiff, pointed, fuzzy leaves reach up to 3.0 feet (91 cm) in length. They are found in dark grey and red varieties, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the bine produces handfuls of tiny red flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of tiny berries.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
