Emerald Heart Moss

This pink or green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly rigid; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
