Emerald Tear Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainforests.
It is massive, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is overwhelmingly durable.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
