Waterwood Pine

This modest-sized tree grows up to 59 meters (193.6 feet) tall and lives for over 1,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 1702 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, wonky trunk covered in delicate, cracked, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is burgundy-brown.

The tangled mess of branches are short, rigid and upright, with dozens of twigs covered with small amounts of giant, lime green needles. The needles themselves are sturdy.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, amber berries.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
