Lightning Vine

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 235 feet (71.6 meters) and growing as high as 35 feet (10.7 meters).

It takes 15 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1.2 feet (36 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The long, narrow, smooth leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are hazel with bold yellow tips, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many giant light red flowers.
