Clinging Needlegrass

This modest-sized, yellow-green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, crimson tail.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
