Copper Spine Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This modest-sized cactus grows up to 64 feet (19.5 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 5 asymmetrical stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in brittle pastel yellow spines.
It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with each petal a slightly different shade of vibrant green grow at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like vomit.
The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the orange flesh is rough, and the bronze sap is thin.
The sap causes severe rashes
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
