Vinebloom

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This enormous flower grows up to 13.6 feet (4.1 meters) tall. Its emerald stem is very thick and splits into 10 branching stems halfway up, and the small, orange leaves are spear shaped with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

Each stem splits 6 to 12 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 117 cm (46.1 inches) wide, with solid brown petals decorated with ashy purple lines and a violet central disk. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. They fall easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like varnish, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
