Silver Spire Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This small cactus grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 4 slender, pointed stems. Each stem is silver, and is dotted with small caramel spines.

It is fast growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are generally vibrant red; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like onion.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the pale yellow flesh is slimy, and the black sap is thin.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
