Peachtail Grass

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, peach tail.

During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
