Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large shrub grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 187 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has several knobbly, straight stems covered in knobbly, brown bark, and the wood inside is light brown.
The branches are short and slender with thousands of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of tiny, thick, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are peach on the sides and orange at the center, flexible and crispy.
In late summer it produces a thick sheet of medium-sized, subtle purple flowers with V-shaped petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are hardy and have a faint scent that smells like meat.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
