Golden Tear Moss

This pastel yellow moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On rotten logs.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely durable.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
