Spiral Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely delicate; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores.
