Bloodvine
Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its black and blood red stem is thin and splits into dozens of branching stems halfway up, and the small, yellow-green leaves are wispy with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
