Conioli??

This small fruit tree grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for up to 45 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 72 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a knobbly, straight trunk covered in silky, dark green bark, and inside, the soft wood is silver.

The abundance of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with large amounts of small, needle-like leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are dark grey on the edges and olive at the center.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of large, olive blossoms with V-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like bonfire smoke.

In late summer it produces , long, tapering fruit. The smooth purple skin is stretchy and sour, and the crunchy cyan flesh is sour and juicy. The slate seeds are tiny and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
