Aquamarine Spine Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This enormous cactus grows up to 124 feet (37.8 meters) tall. The pleated stem is moss green, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid aquamarine spines.

It is slow growing, taking 49 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with green petals on the lower layer and dark grey petals decorated with subtle red dots on the inner layer. The central disk is violet, grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of handfuls of tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like pine needles.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the indigo flesh is soft, and the washed-out blue sap is thin.
