Twisted Lilac
Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 133 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has dozens of very thick, twisting stems covered in wrinkled, burgundy and brown bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.
The branches are long and thin with dozens of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of small, perforated, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are solid peach with dark purple dots, light and soft.
It produces several giant, lilac flowers with circular petals. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like old books. In late spring it forms medium-sizedbeige, shelled seeds.
