Silver Vine

This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 11 feet (3.4 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 9 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.

The perforated, clammy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are solid green or beige, with vivid blue lines, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many bunches of large intense orange flowers.
