Blue Tailgrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows the first year, flowers the second year, then dies)

This big, moss green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in large clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, deep blue tail.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.

It can absorb up to 17 times its own weight in water.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
