Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This massive caudiciform grows up to 151 feet (46.0 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is blood red or silver, and is covered in hundreds of flexible orange spines. The round, lime trunk can grow to as much as 151 feet (46.0 meters) in diameter. Its blood red or silver branches are short, rigid and upright.

The serrated-edged, thin leaves are either muted red, or bronze with lilac splotches. They are flexible, but take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are muted red at the sides and bold orange at the center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like glue.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the blood red flesh is sticky, and the light grey sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
