Magenta Bine

This massive bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,410 feet (734.6 meters) and growing as high as 476 feet (145.1 meters).

It takes 19 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3.0 feet (91 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The long, narrow, clammy leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are generally magenta, and have toothed edges.
