Vinebloom

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its olive stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 5 and are wispy and straight, and split into many branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the giant, emerald leaves are pleated with irregular edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with petals that are either olive or bronze, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a weak scent that smells like blood, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.


It is suitable for making baskets and the like
