Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

It has a slender, straight trunk covered in rough, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the flexible wood is light brown.

The excessive amount of branches are very long and thin and are covered with handfuls of giant, wispy leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either deep blue or olive, with washed-out yellow splotches.

In early spring, it produces handfuls of large, amber blossoms with pleated petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like rainy days.

In late summer it produces , oblong fruit. The hairy hazel skin is delicate and sweet and spicy, and the slightly crunchy brown flesh is slightly spicy and oily. The bronze seeds are large and are bunched at the top of the fruit.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
