Violet Oasis

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its olive or drab orange stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 6 and are wispy and straight, and split into dozens of branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the small, silver leaves are white on the underside and are wide with irregular edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single small flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with violet petals and a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a powerful scent that smells like fermented fruit, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
