Ember Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On rotten logs, In moorlands, and In rainforests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
