Waterleaf

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is wispy, and the miniature, green leaves are long, tapering with rounded edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

5 to 10 tiny flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 39 cm (15.4 inches) wide, with solid brown petals and a crimson central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 14 petals. They detach easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like bleach, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
