Emerald Bog Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is very robust; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
The sap is azure.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
