Rockvine

This huge vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 517 feet (157.6 meters) and growing as high as 844 feet (257.3 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 5 years for the purple stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.6 feet (48 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The 2 pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are found in vibrant yellow, light grey and red varieties, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of large peach flowers.
