Sunburst Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On trees, In rainy mountain ranges, and In rainforests.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very robust; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
