Twining Conifer

This giant shrub grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall and lives for around 15 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous branched, straight stems covered in smooth, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches trail down across the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of small, spear shaped, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are blood red and slate, resistant and clammy.

It produces many large, slate flowers with slender, pointed petals. They detach easily and have a delicate scent that smells like freshly baked bread. In early winter it forms smallblack, shelled seeds.
