Twistvine

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 120 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of stocky, twisting stems covered in thick, smooth, yellow bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are long and slender with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of tiny, circular, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in dark grey and gold varieties, delicate and leathery.

It produces a handful of tiny, white flowers with 8 teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have the faintest scent that smells like mint. In mid-autumn it forms tinyashy yellow, shelled seeds.
