Hazelvine

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 34 feet (10.4 meters)0.

It takes 16 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The wide, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are solid purple or red, with hazel edges, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the bine produces lots of giant lime flowers.
