Emerald Moor Moss
Moss type: MossThis lime green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In heathlands, On rotten logs, and In moorlands.
It is giant, growing up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely robust; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
