Desert Strawgrass

This small, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, yellow tuft.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
