Copperbell Shrubby

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 56 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several wide, twisting stems covered in silky, burgundy bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are very short and slender with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of huge, very thick, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of green that gradient shifts to brown at the top, resistant and rough.

In early summer it produces lots of medium-sized, copper flowers with stiff, pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have an overpowering scent that smells like soap.
