Twining Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This big, yellow-green grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, lilac flower.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
