Golden

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thick, and the huge, gold and caramel leaves are finger-like with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

Around 50 small flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with alternating petals of muted blue and dark grey, with a green central disk. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet made up of several widely spaced, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.

It has a powerful scent that smells like leather, and it has very little pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
